Here’s a quick preview on what to expect for the 2012 Heavy Hitter Angels Calendar. OH MY LAWD!

June 15, 2011 (New York, NY) The Heavy Hitters are officially teaming up with some of the flyest ladies in the Tri-State area’s nightlife scene to release their first Heavy Hitter-branded calendar.

Models, dancers, and bartenders from New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut posed for the camera on-location in Elmhurst, Queens at the soon-to-be-open Glazz Lounge in the first round of photo shoots for the upcoming project. Glazz Lounge, which is slated to be open this July, is a multi-level nightclub located conveniently just off of Queens Blvd. Makeup artist Salma “Saucy” Suarez and hair stylist Joy Williams were on hand to assist with styling the women for the shoot, which featured Felix Natal Jr. behind the camera lens photographing notable names such as Tahiry, Ashley Logan, Jhonni Blaze, Nikki Legz, J La Colombiana and more.

The 2012 Heavy Hitters calendar, which is slated for release in October in conjunction with a behind-the-scenes DVD shot by DJ Quiz and Vincent Morris, is a byproduct of the Heavy Hitters’ positive relationships with the area’s nightclubs. Heavy Hitter DJ Kast One, who was on set assisting alongside Heavy Hitter founding member DJ Enuff, Angel Ramirez of DPI Creative, and others, explained, “It’s something different than the deejaying. It’s the Heavy Hitter brand expanding.” The models expressed interest in working with the Heavy Hitters for various reasons, Jhonni Blaze in particular was anxious to participate in the shoot due to her previous experiences with the crew. When asked why she enjoys working with the Heavy Hitters in a conversation with ThatsEnuff, she stated, “I met them at my job. I was dancing and they always shouted me out. [DJ Enuff] came up to me and showed me a lot of love. I always give them respect, and they give me respect, and I think that’s cool. They’re really sweet. Every time I see them it’s like family, and I love them. It’s a great thing to have them here.”
